Hi Lil’ Jay parents! It’s time for our packet drop off/pick up! The date is Monday, April 13th. The times are 3-5pm. We will run it the same way as we did the first time. All 1st/2nd/3rd grade packets will b dropped off and picked up on the bus ramp( Gene Street). All PK and Kinder will be in the front drive off of Margaret Street. Please have your child’s name and grade level posted on a sign on your dashboard. This will help speed up the distribution process. Only students who are not participating in our on-line learning have to pick up a new packet(you should have notified your child’s teacher). On-line students do not need to drop off/pick up anything. Make sure your child’s name, teacher name and grade level are on the packet you are returning . You are to submit only the completed work from the prior weeks. If you have any questions, contact your child’s teacher. Thank you for your continued support!

Needville ISD grading system procedures are being reviewed due to Covid-19. We are monitoring student progress and completion of assigned curriculum. Our goal is for every student to show proficiency to ensure they are prepared academically for the next grade level or graduation. At this time students need to continue to complete assignments through home-based instruction whether it be google classroom or paper packets.
Dear Needville school-community, Needville ISD will extend the closure of all campuses with an indefinite return date for the 2019-20 school year. Governor Abbott has announced today that school buildings shall be closed through May 4, 2020. Based on that Executive Order, we wish to embrace the challenge of continuing the home-based instructional process for a successful completion of the 2019-20 school year, whether we return to "normal school" in May or not. If it is determined that we will resume normal operations, it will be announced one week prior. Continue the parent/teacher/campus communication and we will work through this COVID-19 pandemic TOGETHER. This truly is a first for all of us! Please be safe. Wash hands regularly, disinfect living/working areas, adhere to the social distancing/small grouping requirements and isolate yourself if you are feeling any symptoms. It is up to all of us to stop this virus from spreading! God Bless to All, Curtis Rhodes

Hi Lil’ Jay parents! We sure miss you! We have been working hard and have prepared Google Classrooms for your child’s continued learning. Your child’s teacher reached out to you last week to see if you had internet/computer or not. Based on that information your child’s teacher prepared a packet for those students who are not able to access internet. The pick up for those students will be tomorrow, Monday, from 3-5. First, Second, and Third Grade Pickup will be on bus ramp. Enter at entrance on Gene by the library. PK and K will be located in front drive on Margaret. Enter the front entrance as you would for car rider/visiting the school. We have two staff members from each team that will distribute packets as you drive through. If at all possible, write your child’s name and teacher on paper and place in your window so we can pull packets quickly. Packets are labeled with student name/teacher. This will also help to keep the flow of traffic going. Please know that as much as we miss you and your child, this is for pickup only. We ask you to stay in your car. Any questions/conferences about work will take place through the communication that your child’s teacher has shared. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Please let your babies know I/we love and miss them so much!!

District leaders are planning for long-term delivery of instruction in this unprecedented situation. Please continue to monitor your email and visit the District website for more information. The health of the Needville ISD students, staff and community is the District’s top priority. Curtis Rhodes Superintendent of Schools
