My name is Stephen Janecek, and I am extremely honored to not only lead this extraordinary school but also to serve this community. Having previously served as a teacher, coach, and assistant principal in the district, I fully understand the rich tradition of success here in Needville ISD.
This will be my 20th year working in education and my 6th as an administrator. I am a graduate of Lamar Consolidated High School, received my Bachelors degree from Texas A&M University, and a Masters in Educational Administration from Lamar University. I have been married to my wife, Jan, for 10 years and have two children, John-10 and Jay-6.
I believe that our job as educators is to help each and every child become not only better students but better people. This is done through high-quality education and a culture built around positivity, self-pride, and accountability. I have extremely high expectations for our students and staff, and if our goal is to be an “A” campus, then everything we do must be at an “A” level!
My job as a leader is to energize and drive students and staff to be the best they can be! However, education is a team effort, so if there is anything that I can do to support you or your child please do not hesitate to reach out. Go Blue Jays!!
