DISTRICT TEA A-F ACADEMIC ACCOUNTABILITY FOR 2024 AND 2025
The Texas Education Agency will release 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 A-F Accountability Ratings on Friday, August 15. Accountability ratings have been tied up in lawsuits and that is why we will receive two years worth. Recently, the 2022-2023 ratings were issued and Needville I.S.D. was an overall “B” rating. Needville I.S.D. is positioned to receive an overall “A” rating for the latest school year, 2024-2025.
This is a worthy distinction and worth celebrating. Student outcomes is our goal but we are driven by our values and focused on development of all students, which leads to high-yield student outcomes.
On Friday, the public will be able to access this information through the TEA website as well as txschools.gov.
This information will highlight the most current year of 2024-2025.
Campus Highlights:
Needville Elementary (Grades PK-3rd) I Rating: 93 (A)
An overall increase from a 90 to a 93 grade from previous year.
Distinction Designations in the following categories:
Needville Middle School (Grades 4th - 6th) I Rating: 91 (A)
4 points higher in Academic Growth from the previous year.
Distinction Designations in the following categories:
Needville Junior High School (Grades 7th - 8th) I Rating: 91 (A)
An overall rating increase from 86 to 91 from the previous year.
Closing the gaps increased from an 82 to a 92 from the previous year.
Distinction Designations in the following categories:
Needville High School (Grades 9th - 12th) I Rating: 89 (B)
Graduation rate of 99.6 (That is less than 1 student, not sure how they have their data but we had a 100% graduation rate.)
College, Career, and Military Readiness score 85%
Algebra I scores 90% overall compared to 76% state average.
Biology scores 97% overall compared to 91% state average.
English I scores 80% overall compared to 66% state average.
English II scores 83% overall compared to 71% state average.
US History scores 98% overall compared to 94% state average.
