Forensics refers to the act of debating and public speaking. Students who are involved in forensics have the opportunity to compete against other high school students from 1A-6A schools across Texas.

Events include Lincoln-Douglas Debate, Cross-Examination Debate, Public Forum, Extemporaneous and Impromptu Speaking, Prose and Poetry. We compete in tournaments roughly twice a month from September until March.

Tournaments are held on Fridays and Saturdays or just on Saturdays.

Students involved in speech and debate learn speaking skills, build confidence and self-esteem, and develop life long relationships among teammates. You will learn how to become a leader, a team player, and a competitor.
