We wanted to share one last sentiment on Veterans Day written by NHS student Kaleb John Craig.

Veterans Day isn't just any day. It is a day where our community pauses to say "we see you, we remember you, and we thank you!"

So from all of us here at Needville High School, THANK YOU for your courage, your heart, your service, and your example! The world shines a little brighter because of people like you all. God Bless and once again Happy Veterans Day!

UIL Academics competed at the Waller Invitational on Saturday, November 8. The following students medaled: Accounting – Seneca Arredondo 5th Computer Science – Jonathan Kasmir 7th. In the small school division, Jonathan 1st, Brenden Bromonsky 2nd, and Olivia Bloomquist 3rd. Editorial Writing – Berkley Riddle 2nd Feature Writing - Berkley Riddle 1st Literary Criticism – Olivia Bloomquist 8th and Jetta Clanton 9th Social Studies – Lane Stavinoha 6th Great job against mainly 6A schools. The next invitational will be on January 17 at Seven Lakes.
