NMS Student Spotlight:
This past weekend, Kaisen Hodges played in the Army versus Navy Cadet Bowl All-Star showcase. Kaisen was not only nominated, but also selected and after three drafts he made team Navy. He got to play offense and defense. On offense, his position was center and left guard. On defense, he got to play middle linebacker. Kaisen did go up against some really really big boys, but he was never intimidated or backed down. He played his position and played it to the best of his ability. With that being said, Navy won 28-6! He also got to participate in NFL combine style events where he ran a 40 in 6.33 seconds. Thanks to his mom for sharing this amazing achievement!
We can't wait to see the talent he displays next year for Needville Junior High!

Happy New Year to all of our NMS families! We are so excited to see our kids back at school tomorrow. Just a reminder for our students to remember their student ID as we start the 2nd semester. Also any student who is tardy to school (after 8 a.m. and before 8:15 a.m.) must have a parent physically come into school and sign them in. Thanks and have a great rest of your Monday!
The last kid has left the building! Thanks for a great first semester. We hope you have a very Merry Christmas and happy holidays. See you in January!!
Congrats to Julia Doggett who won 2nd place throughout all of Fort Bend County in the Friends of Fort Bend County Historical Commission 4th Grade Essay Contest!
Thanks to Bayou Boys for stopping by and providing hot chocolate for our staff!

This is a friendly reminder that on December 15,2023, students will be released early at 1:00 PM.
Please note there will be no birthday lunches on this day due to a shortened schedule. We will capture any student who has a birthday tomorrow once we return in January. We kindly ask that all early pickups be completed by 12:00 PM. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns! Have a great rest of your Thursday.
Congrats to our Christmas door winners!
