Mr. Anderson’s PAFNR classes have been working hard on their pig bottle project after they learned about the different swine breeds and how to read and administer ear notches.

Aquatic Science students in Mrs. Erfurdt, Mrs. Muniz, and Mr. Salazar’s classes took on an exciting design challenge this week: create a plankton model that stays neutrally buoyant two inches below the surface the water! Â
Using creativity, problem solving, and a whole lot of testing and tweaking, they explored concepts like density, mass, volume, and displacement to make their tiny organisms float in just the right spot - not sinking, not rising, but perfectly balanced! Â
We are so proud of their perseverance, teamwork, and innovative thinking.  The future of marine engineering (and maybe ocean exploration) looks bright!

Jayden Naik (jr.) and Trong Hoang (so.) competed this past weekend at Boling for district in CX Debate.
They went to finals, finishing 3rd place in District and Alternate to State. We are extremely proud of their hard work this year!
