
We are excited to welcome Mrs. Marki Hajdik to NHS! Mrs. Hajdik will be teaching Government and US History this year. She is a graduate of Texas A&M University and will be starting her 13th year in education. She is excited to work for the school she graduated from and getting to be so much closer to my kids & home! Mrs. Hajdik and her husband Kobie have been married for 9 years and have two daughters, Peyton and Kamryn. During her free time she enjoys going to Matagorda Beach with family & friends. Her hobbies include crafting, photography, & watching tv!


Welcome Mrs. Jennifer Estrada to our NHS staff! Ms. Estrada will be teaching Life Skills this year. She is a graduate of the University of Houston-Victoria. This will be her 18th year teaching, and she is looking forward to working with the amazing students at Needville High School. She has one daughter, Paisley, who will be in 9th grade and wo cats, Astro and Sadie. During her free time, she enjoys traveling all around the Houston area with her daughter’s’ travel team. She also enjoys going to the beach and camping with her family during their spare time. She can’t wait to be a part of the staff and make a difference in my hometown. Once a Blue Jay, always a Blue Jay!


NHS is happy to welcome Kevin Goodwin to our staff! Coach Goodwin will be teaching and coaching football and track. He received his Bachelors degree from Stephen F. Austin University and received his Masters from Texas A&M Commerce. He is married to his wife Mamie and is a proud father of five (Nick, Cameron, Bryson, Aiden, and Kiera). During his free time, he enjoys traveling. He is looking forward to working with a group of positive students and adults.


Please help us welcome Mrs. Rilea Sanders to NHS! She will be teaching Special Education as this year. She is married to her husband, Brandon, and has two children, Braxton and Briley. She enjoys time with her family at the pool/beach, going to sporting events and just being happy and enjoying life! She is most excited about being in NISD and meeting new people.


We are excited to welcome our new Law Enforcement teacher Mrs. Claudia Urbina to NHS! She is a graduate of Houston Community College, University of Houston-Downtown and Lamar University. With 20 years in law enforcement, she is excited to share her experiences and knowledge with her students. Her goal is to encourage students into public service and find their career path. During her free time, she and her family enjoy spending time at the rivers and beaches. Her hobbies include knitting and traveling.
